Hip Dip Filler Before and After
How to Evaluate Filler Before and After Photos
Use the P-L-C standard: same Pose, same Lighting, same Clothing. Photos that differ in any of these cannot be honestly evaluated as a transformation. A before photo with side lighting and flat-foot stance will show a prominent dip. An after photo with flat front lighting and a slight hip shift will show a smooth contour — with zero physical change. This is the most common deception in filler marketing.
Real Sculptra Before and After Timeline
- Before: Dip visible in flat front lighting.
- Day 1: Area over-filled, swollen. This is NOT the result.
- Week 1: Swelling resolved. Area looks under-filled. This is correct.
- Month 1: First collagen volume emerging. Subtle softening visible.
- Month 3: Substantial filling. Smooth contour. This is the real result.

Questions to Ask When Viewing Photos
- "When was this photo taken relative to treatment?" (Day 3 swelling photos are misleading)
- "Is this the same lighting and pose as the before photo?"
- "How many vials were used for this result?"
- "Is this a typical result or your best result?"
- "Can I see the results at 6 months, not 1 week?"
